How much material Do I need?

Based on material, a good estimate is 1 cubic yard is equal to 1.25 tons. That will slightly differ based on material requested. You can use the online calculator below to determine how many cubic yards of material are required.

Tons Per Cubic Yard: Gravels

Rock (57 & 89) = 1.2 tons (2400 lbs.) per cubic yard

Lime Rock (919) = 1.25 tons (2500 lbs.) per cubic yard

River Rock (all) = 1.325 tons (2650 lbs.) per cubic yard

Granite (all) = 1.325 tons (2650 lbs.) per cubic yard
